the GazettE at a-nation Festival

The GazettE will be participating in a festival this summer. They will perform on August 4, 2012 at a-nation's [music week] , on the Band Nation day. The price for the tickets is 6800 yens and they will be on sale soon. If you are in Japan, or will be during the summer, consider attending the festival to see their performance. This will be a second year of festivals appearances for The GazettE. Last year, they were invited for the first time to perform in Japanese music festivals, a good opportunity for the band to get known outside of the regular Visual Kei scene.

the GazettE - DIVISION Release Date Revealed + Tours

Some news from the GazettE!
Before, we had announced the release of their 6th studio album "DIVISION" in January. 4 months later, the band has revealed the album's official release date.

"DIVISION" will be released on August 29th, but nothing else is known about the album as of yet.

Before releasing the album, they will be holding a nationwide tour titled "STANDING LIVE TOUR12 -HERESY PRESENTS- HETERODOXY" in July. Afterward, the band will embark on another tour titled "LIVE TOUR12 -DIVISION- GROAN OF DIPLOSOMIA 01" in October.

the GazettE Fuji TV Next Documentary - Review

After 10 years, they are still going strong, aren’t they?

On April 29^th, Fuji TV Next broadcasted a unique documentary about the GazettE 10 years anniversary named [The GazettE, now where are you?]. If you missed it, this short review will help you to get a glimpse of its content.

A mysterious intro song with haunting notes, The GazettE’s signature. The first part of the documentary included promotional footage for the new Venomous Cell Tour Finale Omega DVD which was released yesterday on May 9th. (Did you order your copy yet? Omega DVD ranked 1st on Oricon Chart!) Black & white backstage videos of our favourite 5 men and some of the fiercest songs of Omega Tour Finale (Infuse Into, Venomous Spider Web, Sludgy Cult, Vortex, Discharge). This gets the fans riled up for the DVD.

The most interesting part came after the presentation of Omega. We go back to revisit where The GazettE played 10 years ago. A small live house with more or less 60 seats. Was it really that small? From live houses to the Tokyo Dome, and with the unforgettable feelings of the Budokan; the documentary showed footage of the band previous tour finales as well as many comments from each member. A few comments from guests are also interesting. It is good to see the members smile. While their debuts were inexperienced and wild (at our delight!), their growth is trustworthy.

The last part delivered what every fan was waiting for: live songs from The Decade, the band 10th anniversary live hosted on March 10th, 2012 (Miseinen, Ganges ni Akai Bara, Fifth in the Beauty, Linda –Candydive Pinky Heaven-). The world rocked under Ruki's "I don't want to forget myself, I want to be as I am", timeless lyrics. The Decade on DVD hasn't been announced, but meanwhile the songs played in the documentary allow you to headbang… I mean, to see what you missed if you didn't attend the live in Japan. Also, comments and backstage moments with the Gaze men make the fans smile or cry along.

the GazettE has lost nothing over the years, nor their fans or their pure energy. They haven't given up. So, the GazettE, now where are you? Soaring high.

the GazettE to release new album + kick off hall tour in the fall

the GazettE would be releasing a brand new album titled “DIVISION“. It’s been confirmed that this new album will be released on August 29th.

“DIVISION” is the band’s first full album since “TOXIC“, which was released in October of last year. The track list and other details will be revealed at a later date.

the GazettE will also be holding their nationwide live house tour, ‘STANDING LIVE TOUR12 -HERESY PRESENTS- HETERODOXY‘, starting in July. The band will then embark on a hall tour, ‘LIVE TOUR12 -DIVISION- GROAN OF DIPLOSOMIA 01‘, to coincide with their new album’s release. This tour will kick off on October 8th at Yokosuka Arts Theatre, and will wrap up on November 29th at NHK Hall, for a total of 24 shows.

Tickets will go on sale starting September 8th.

the GazettE Ranking 1st on Daily ORICON DVD Charts with "OMEGA"

On May 9th, the GazettE have released their latest live DVD "TOUR11-12 VENOMOUS CELL FINALE OMEGA LIVE AT 01.14 YOKOHAMA ARENA" and it has been learned that the sales on the first day ranked them first within the ORICON Daily DVD charts. For the band it is the first time to reach this result in all of their band history.
The DVD contains the tour final of their last tour's finale held at Yokohama Arena in January 2012, gathering a 15,000 people audience that night. The concert had been the last before the GazettE celebrated their 10th Anniversary this year.

Soon the GazettE will be going on their HETERODOXY tour and ticket sales for the FC ONLY performances will be going into another round on May 15th together with the tickets for their Fall Tour "LIVE TOUR12-DIVISION-GROAN OF DIPLOSOMIA 01".

The GazettE Announces Two Tours for 2012

After just celebrating with their 10th anniversary concert the band, The GazettE, announced that they will perform in two tours during this year. The first tour takes place just before the release of the band's album "DIVISION" on August 29th; while the second tour takes place during the fall.

The Visual Kei band's first scheduled tour, titled "STANDING LIVE TOUR12-HERESY PRESENTS-HETERODOXY," and will begin in early July. However, the tour's tickets will be sold primarily to members of the fan club HERESY, and go on sale at the end of the month. See the schedule below for more details.
