P’UNK-EN-CIEL reveals jacket cover for “P’UNK IS NOT DEAD”

L’Arc~en~Ciel’s alter ego, P’UNK-EN-CIEL, has revealed the jacket cover for their first album, “P’UNK IS NOT DEAD“. This album will come with the limited edition of L’Arc~en~Ciel’s upcoming album, “Butterfly“, which will hit stores on February 8th.

“P’UNK IS NOT DEAD” will contain 12 remixed and remastered versions of L’Arc~en~Ciel’s coupling songs. It will also come with a bonus DVD that includes a special program called, “Best Hit LEC“. Narrated by Kobayashi Katsuya, the program will commemorate the band’s 20th anniversary, supported by various clips and interviews.

Additionally, it’s been announced that L’Arc~en~Ciel’s special program, “L’Arc~en~Ciel 20nen no Kiseki“, will air on NHK on February 11th. This program will feature unreleased footage and interviews that reflect on the band’s 20-year career.

P’UNK~EN~CIEL 1st upcoming album release

Rock band L’Arc~en~Ciel has announced that they will live broadcast the mastering and final sound check for their new album via UStream.
This was announced on December 4th during the final performance of the band’s nationwide tour, “20th L’Anniversary Tour“. Fans can look forward to this rare opportunity to see the moment of completion of the anticipated new album.
The live broadcast will be held on December 26th starting at 10:00pm. An “access code” that will be provided in their upcoming single, “CHASE“, is needed in order to view the broadcast.
Additionally, L’Arc~en~Ciel’s alter ego P’UNK-EN-CIEL will be releasing their first album, “P’UNK IS NOT DEAD“. This will be their very first full album since they started their activities in 2004. The track list and release date will be announced at a later date.
Furthermore, the band has revealed that they will wrap up their upcoming world tour in Tokyo and Osaka in May. More details on this will also be announced at a later date, so stay tuned for follow-up reports!
