Sakanaction reveals cover for “Boku to Hana”

 

Sakanaction announced they will be providing the new theme song, “Boku to Hana” to drama series ‘37-sai de Isha ni Natta Boku ~Kenshui Junjou Monogatari~‘. Now the cover and some additional information has been released.

“Boku to Hana” will contain three songs including a remix of their previous single “Rookie“. The additional song will be “Neptunes” and the first press will contain a 20-page booklet. The CD jacket is designed by kamikkene (Hatos) who came up with the idea of a having the members illustrated on the news paper’s TV program list, to tie into the drama.

This is their 6th single and is scheduled to released on May 30th.

Sakanaction collaborates with JONTE’ for new ‘Mode Gakuen’ CM

Rock band Sakanaction will be providing the new CM song for ‘Mode Gakuen‘!

The band collaborated with dancer JONTE’, who’s been in charge of choreography for top artists such as Beyonce and Janet Jackson. In the CM, JONTE’ will show off his dancing to Sakanaction’s new song. The release date for the song has not been determined at this time.

Sakanaction’s “Boku to Hana” is currently the theme song for the drama, ‘37sai de Isha ni Natta Boku ~Kenshui Junjo Monogatari~‘, which started airing on April 10th. The song will be released on May 30th and is now available in Chaku-Uta form.

Sakanaction to sing theme song for Kusanagi Tsuyoshi’s upcoming drama

Rock band Sakanaction will be providing their new song, “Boku to Hana“, as the theme song for Fuji TV’s upcoming drama series, ‘37-sai de Isha ni Natta Boku ~Kenshui Junjou Monogatari~’.

Starring SMAP’s Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, the drama tells the story of a 37-year-old man who works as a medical intern at a university hospital after quitting his job at a food company.

This will be Sakanaction’s first time to provide a theme song for a drama. “Boku to Hana” will be released as the band’s 6th single on May 30th.

Additionally, on March 30th, Sakanaction will hold a release party via UStream to commemorate the release of their new live DVD & Blu-ray, ‘SAKANAQUARIUM 2011 DocumentaLy -LIVE at MAKUHARI MESSE-’. The members are expected to share behind-the-scene episodes from their concert, along with stories relating to their new song.
