STEREOPONY successfully wraps up first mini-tour in US
Japanese all-female rock band STEREOPONY completed their first live-house tour of America this month, with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Santa Ana, California.
The tour kicked off on April 6th at Seattle’s anime and Japanese culture event Sakura-Con, where the band performed live and met with fans at Q&A and autograph sessions.

STEREOPONY to live broadcast their concert at “Sakura-Con”
On April 6th, female rock band STEREOPONY will be holding a live concert
at the anime festival, “Sakura-Con“, in Seattle, Washington. It’s been
revealed that this concert will be broadcasted live via niconico.com and
Nico Nico Namahousou!
The concert will air on April 6th at 6:30 pm local time (PDT), which equates to April 7th at 10:30 am in Japan.
After their appearance at “Sakura-Con”, the girls are scheduled to hold their first U.S. tour. Upon completion of their U.S. tour and their return to Japan, they will hold their tour, “More! More!! More!!!“, which will wrap up on April 22nd at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO.
Additionally, it’s been revealed that STEREOPONY’s new song, “stand by me“, will be released as a single on May 30th. This song is the ending theme to the anime, “Eureka Seven: AO“, and will come in 3 different versions: Limited Edition (CD+DVD), Regular Edition (CD-Only), and an Anime Edition.

Check out the details on STEREOPONY’s 1st mini U.S. tour!
As announced earlier, Japanese all-girl rock band, STEREOPONY will be attending this year’s Sakura-Con as
the Guest of Honor. In addition to their appearance on the anime
convention, they will also be holding their first mini U.S. tour in
April.
They have confirmed three different locations so far for the tour, in addition to an in-store show at Amoeba in San Francisco.

KERA magazine to release anniversary compilation album
To celebrate their 13th anniversary, fashion magazine ‘KERA‘ will release a compliation album titled, “KERA! Song ~KERA SONGS 13th Anniversary Collection~“. It is scheduled to drop on April 25th.
Participating in the album are AnCafe, Kalafina, Kitade Nana, SuG, SCANDAL, Stereopony,Seishun Jump, Nakagawa Shoko, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, PIKO, and Wakeshima Kanon. It’s also been revealed that two of KERA’s models will participate in the album as ‘B Syndrome‘.
The limited edition of the album will include a DVD.

Sakura-Con to welcome Kanon Wakeshima, Moi dix Mois and Stereopony!
Sakura-Con located at Washington
State and Trade center is glad to announce that they have invited the
wonderful Kanon Wakeshima, Moi dix Mois and Stereopony to there
convention. Sakura-con is from April 6 to the 8th. For fashion goers,
they have also invited h.Naoto, Chantilly and Atelier Pierrot. How
wonderful is that?

STEREOPONY Writes New Anime ED for "Eurkea Seven AO"
Girl band STEREOPONY will use their new song "stand by me" for the new anime "Eureka Seven AO" ending theme.
Eureka Seven AO is the sequel to Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven which
aired in 2005 for about a year. The new anime will still be held in the
same world where there are natural disasters happening in the world due
to the "Sukabu Coral". The story line follows a young boy Ao who is
trying to find his mother who went missing.
The opening theme is by the new band Hemenway and it was confirmed that their song "Escape" is going to be used.

STEREOPONY is coming to Sakura Con this April!
For the fourth year in a row, female rock band STEREOPONY will be coming back to the U.S. and this time to the anime convention Sakura Con in Seattle, WA.
The convention will be held from April 6th to April 8th at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Downtown Seattle.
The girls’ previous shows in the U.S. include performances at SXSW (2009), AnimeNEXT (2010), andAnime Boston (2011). So coming here in 2012 will mark a record for them for being invited four times to the U.S.
As
with all conventions, the STEREOPONY will join in a Q&A panel and
autograph sessions. More news will be available on Sakura Con’s official website.
STEREOPONY to Perform at Seattle’s Sakura-Con
All-female band STEREOPONY will be performing at the annual Washington State convention Sakura-Con 2012, which is set to take place from April 6-8 in Seattle.
Sakura-Con marks STEREOPONY’s second performance in the United States, with their first being at SXSW in Texas in 2009.

is one of the most popular anime conventions in the Pacific-Northwest,
