Piko to hold his first overseas one-man live in Taiwan

Male singer Piko has announced that he will be holding his first overseas one-man live in Taiwan on July 14th.

Soon after his debut, Piko held an event tour in Europe, and has continued to be very active overseas. He’s experiencing a lot of  popularity in Asia after his CDs were released throughout the continent.

Piko is holding the concert in response to the great demand by Taiwanese fans. The one-man live will be part of ‘Piko LIVE TOUR 2012′, and will be held at THE WALL in Taipei. Pre-reservation tickets will be available starting May 3rd.

KERA magazine to release anniversary compilation album

To celebrate their 13th anniversary, fashion magazine ‘KERA‘ will release a compliation album titled, “KERA! Song ~KERA SONGS 13th Anniversary Collection~“. It is scheduled to drop on April 25th.

Participating in the album are AnCafe, Kalafina, Kitade Nana, SuG, SCANDAL, Stereopony,Seishun Jump, Nakagawa Shoko, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, PIKO, and Wakeshima Kanon. It’s also been revealed that two of KERA’s models will participate in the album as ‘B Syndrome‘.

The limited edition of the album will include a DVD.

PIKO’s new single produced by L’arc-en-Ciel’s TETSUYA

Male singer ピコ(PIKO) has announced a new single is underway. Titled “咲色リフレイン(emiiro refrain)”  the single will be released April 25th.

The single is also produced by L’arc~en~Ciel bassist TETSUYA. This is TETSUYA’s first time to produce a song for another artist. A treat for PIKO, considering that he is a huge fan L’arc~en~Ciel and also belongs to the same company, Ki/oon Records.

TETSUYA expressed his hopes that everyone will enjoy the new song by PIKO. He also commented that PIKO showcased is wide vocal range to produce a beautiful song, and that he’s happy with the final product.

PIKO has said that he never thought he’d be able to work with TETSUYA, and never in his dreams did he imagine he would be singing the song he wrote. The song is obviously very important to PIKO, who is reported to have given this song his very best effort.

“Emiiro Refrain” will come in three versions, a limited edition, regular edition, and a limited time offer edition.
