MEJIBRAY Exclusive E-Mail Interview

--Nice to meet you. This is the first time we have you on our site, so, please give us your brief introduction.

Nice to meet you, too. I'm Tsuzuku, the vocalist of MEJIBRAY.

--Congratulations for your release of the second single, "Sabato." Could you tell us what the listeners can expect from the new single?

Rather than anything else, this is a single that reflects who we are. It is hard music but also mellow and. . . well . . you will get it once you listen.

--Could you tell us the highlights of the music video included in the limited edition A?

Since it is our first music video, we shot the video so that our faces are clearly shown.

--The concert footage will be included with the limited edition B for the first time. What does live performances mean to you?

Gigs are raw. We just let our emotions out to the audience, as we are humans and not robots.

--What do you value the most when you are making songs?

While we value our original style, it is also important to challenge and to create innovative music. Yet no matter what kind of music we make, it ends up turning out to be our style once we play it.

--Could you tell us which bands or albums has influenced you.

I'm sure each member has their own opinions, but personally, I got into visual kei music at a late stage. And I remember getting shocked by Dir En Grey's album "VULGAR."

--We know that your first full-length album "Emotional [KARMA]" will come out on May 2nd. And we would like to know what kind of album it turned out to be.

This will be our new challenge. We performed all songs "Emotionally" from the bottom of our hearts. This definitely has become our best work.

--Now MEJIBRAY is getting much attention not only from Japan but from other countries as well. Can we have a message to your fans living outside Japan?

MEJIBRAY is a fxxk'in amazing band!!! thx!

--Could you tell us about your plans in the future?

Human Brain Karma Project.

--Do you have a final message for our readers?

Thank you very much for reading this interview. We will always be ourselves and will continue to strive with our music as always. Please stay with us. Thx.

MEJIBRAY Vo. Tsuzuku
