X-JAPAN have won the Golden Gods Award for Best International Artist.
The other nominees in the Best International Artist category were
Rammstein (Germany), Lacuna Coil (Italy), Sepultura (Brazil), Behemoth
(Poland) and Meshuggah (Sweden). Winners in different categories were
Avenged Sevenfold, Slash, Korn and Evanescence, amongst others.
In his acceptance speech, Yoshiki thanked the people from Revolver for the acknowledgement. He talked about their 2010 North American tour and their world tour in 2011, before revealing they have currently the final stages of their worldwide debut album. They are also planning their second world tour. Yoshiki finished by thanking the fans for their support and promised they will continue to rock from now on.
