AKB48 member, Shinoda Mariko will be voice acting for upcoming anime film “Kami Usagi Rope“, which is scheduled to be released on May 12th.
“Kami Usagi Rope” is a short film that is being played at TOHO
Cinemas nationwide before the actual movie starts screening. It features
a surreal dialogue between a rabbit, “Kami Usagi Rope”, and a squirrel,
“Akira Senpai”. This short anime will be now released as full-length
anime film.
Shinoda has played the voice of ”Akira Senpai”s older sister in this
anime’s DVD, which was released back in September 2011, and she will
also feature as the voice of the same character in the movie version as
well.
Shinoda commented, “It will make you get the giggles in many scenes. I believe it’s an anime that is enjoyable for anybody.”
